Hello Keri
This is Sally Wei, director of Tzu Chi Santa Rosa. Thank you very much for reaching out to us regarding the project to help the folks suffered form the fire last week. It's so wonderful to see people like you with so much compassion for others. This is exactly what Tzu Chi has been doing in the past 50 years. We are currently very busy working with American Red Cross of the California Northwest and other local Assistance Center. I would love to chat with you in person to gain more mutual understanding in your project and how to blend it into our policy. Thank you again and I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Sally, Tzu Chi Foundation.

Lake County Valley Fire (August 2015)

This was a horrific firestorm that has left many homeless and with winter many are suffering. Suscol Intertribal Council is supporting a relief
fund to address core issues of lack of affordable housing now and long term, interim housing for folks who did not have insurance. Prayers and Facebook communications helped us help others during the firestorm to get needed help and information. A special thanks to Keri Akemi-Bezayiff who went into areas of most concern to develop a comprehensive plan to address these issues. Please visit the Ker Bear project
at: http://kerbearproject.org for more information.
